When assistant curator Lewis Pollard was looking at our lightbulb collection, objects from which may appear in our forthcoming Electricity exhibition, he suddenly had a bright idea (pun very much intended…)
The curious curator took to Twitter with his thoughts on the collection, little imagining that social media fame would follow.
Our historic and unusual lightbulbs quickly gained a following – with the thread garnering more than 1,000 likes and attracting the attention of a reporter from the Press Association.
